Hi, I'm Orian, a Reunion Island native who began traveling at eighteen and eventually settled in Montreal. My passion for photography emerged from my childhood love of creating and shaping things with my hands. I always sought to find beauty in everything and express my imagination. After being introduced to photography by two friends, I quickly became fascinated with the art form.
I graduated from the Dawson College photography program in 2021 and now work as a full-time e-commerce and collectibles photographer at Purearts Studio in Montreal.
“The experimental approach of photography ”
My photos demonstrate my experimental approach to photography, which is inspired by my love for landscapes, urban exploration and analog photography. The choice of angles and the idea of vanishing lines in my work helps me create a sense of direction and movement in my images. I really like this technique because I can see these lines as the necessary structure or framework of my images, that I then assemble to build the final product.
